Home...Love...Life...and...Thoughts :)

A beautiful sunny morning in Singapore. :)

Yes,TODAY is the day

 which may not come again.

"Today will Never come again.
Be a blessing.
Be a friend.
Encourage someone.
Take time to care.
Let your words heal
and not wound."
                            -Unknown

Are you ready
to celebrate the day
with enthusiasm... :)

The Minimalistic Japanese Decor...'Less is More'

The Japanese Zen garden!!....the atmosphere of rest, calm and peaceful serenity....:))
The essence of Japanese interior decor is 'Balance'....the goal is to actually minimize distraction....not adding extra items !!!!
The appeal of a Japanese home is due to its clean, uncluttered look and simple yet elegant design.....to allow the graceful beauty of a few choice furniture pieces....'Less is More' mantra....

The Minimalistic Japanese style living room

....with lots of bamboo products...

....floor cushions, low height furniture...more of living space....an authentic Japanese feel....
Black and White are two colours that are used extensively !!!!
Japanese style dinning room....eye catching !!!!

Living and sleeping areas are flexible and are usually defined by movable screens. In some sleeping areas there are futons placed on the floor at night...then folded up during the day and stored away which allows for more living space....which is more than important in this island nation :))

Now, modern Japanese bedroom ideas with Tatami, Kenso, Loto bed....
